Type One Diabetes can feel as if it is taking over one’s life. It can be incredibly hard to find information pertinently as the web can be a cumbersome process. The goal with DIA Magazine was to allow for a place where all the information is put together, easy to read and understand, visually appealing, and connective for the T1D community. We will have certified facts and research, interviews with professionals, and personal stories in the editorial. Along with a hard copy magazine, diabetics can access our website for any updated information that may occur after the magazine has been published as well a place to find other members of the community, doctors, or tips for further support. This disease should not feel like a constant enemy in one’s life, but instead a friend. We believe diabetes is not the whole puzzle, it is just a piece of you.
